World Monuments Fund (WMF) became the first Western organization to dedicate their work to surveying and restoring the temples at Angkor since the country’s devastating civil war from 1975 to 1979 and its aftermath. Considered to be the largest religious complex on earth, Angkor Archaeological Park covers 150 square miles and encompasses structures that date from the ninth to the fifteenth centuries.

To celebrate WMF’s legacy—and especially the completion of the restoration of two of the park’s temples—we invite you to join us next winter to see Angkor as no one else can: with unparalleled access to its ancient masterpieces and in the company of our local WMF team. Monumental Journeys: Siem Reap and Bangkok will focus on the extraordinary sites in and around Angkor Archaeological Park in Siem Reap, Cambodia, with a two-day excursion to Thailand to explore WMF’s work at the ancient capital of Ayutthaya, just north of Bangkok.

If you have any questions, please email Brian Keliher, Director of Individual Giving at WMF, directly at bkeliher@wmf.org or the Insider Journeys team at insiderjourneys@indagare.com.

A spot on this trip may be reserved with a 50% non-refundable deposit, with the balance to be paid in full by October 1, 2023.
