Kakhelebi

Kakhelebi is a traditional restaurant in Tbilisi specializing in cuisine from the Kakheti region, especially Georgia’s famous khinkali, soup dumplings (often filled with meat) considered a national dish. Kakhelebi is a bit out of the way from downtown Tbilisi—it is located off a busy highway—but it is certainly worth a stop, and it is ideally placed for a meal en route to the airport.
