Sighnaghi Village

The picturesque, hilltop village of Sighnaghi is one of the most prominent towns in Georgia’s Kakheti region. It is home to a few excellent restaurants and wineries, and showcases traditional Georgian architecture. King Erekle II built a defensive wall the 18th century, around which time the village also became an agricultural center for the region. Exploring Sighnaghi by foot while in the region is a must.
