On Saturdays, head to Salcedo Park in Makati for a morning market that features stalls selling local delicacies, fresh produce and artisanal crafts. On Sundays, there is a larger market in nearby Legazpi Park, which has more varied vendors including bag makers who transform tractor tires into trendy backpacks and purses, and a tapa (cured beef) purveyor who will gladly give you a taste of his grandmother’s recipe.
