Episode 67 Wellness, Healing and Transformation with Chopra Global’s Devi Brown

Devi Brown is a master well-being educator, multidisciplinary healer, and storyteller. She’s the founder of Devi Brown Well-Being, author of the book Crystal Bliss, hosts her own spirituality podcast called Deeply Well, leads inspiring wellness retreats, and currently serves as the Chief Impact Officer at Chopra Global, a wellness powerhouse featuring the Chopra Center that provides programs, teachings, and resources rooted in the wisdom of Deepak Chopra. Passionate about transformation and holistic wellness, Melissa and Devi co-hosted an Insider Journey at Mii amo in Sedona last year. In this episode, Devi shares stories from her nonlinear journey, including the serendipitous moments that led her to working with Deepak Chopra. She explores ideas of surrender, inspiration, soul-led leadership and trauma-informed healing.   • Ideal morning routine? Wake up around 5am, meditate, stretch, cuddle with my 5-year-old and get him ready for school, make a double espresso and drink it slow, take a walk outside. Begin!
  • Top wellness destination? I love to renew in Arizona, especially Sedona. The dry heat, beautiful scenery and spiritual essence of Sedona always feels incredibly replenishing, activating and healing to my mind, body and soul. 
  • Favorite mantra? I am divinely protected. I am in powerful co-creation with the divine.
  • Favorite stress-relief activity? Breath work. It is powerful, regulating and helps me connect with and make decisions as my most authentic self. I use breath work throughout the day every time I need it. In meetings, in traffic, with my family. It’s always a good time to do breath work!
  • Favorite meditation on the Chopra app? The meditations we created around dharma and purpose are some of my absolute favs!

  • A healer or wellness leader who inspires you? I am really inspired by women artists like Frida Kahlo, Georgia O’Keeffe and Yayoi Kusama for the way their art has inspired creativity and healing in people everywhere.
