This Upper East Side dining institution returned in late 2013 after a brief hiatus, during which devotees were forced to go months without the tony spot’s signature Cajun chicken. Located three blocks away from its original location, the new Bilboquet is more than double the size, but serves the same beloved French cuisine. The space is bright and airy with chic graphic artwork—less clubby than its previous space—and despite occasionally spotty service, Bilboquet still has a faithful following (many of whom are greeted like family upon arrival).
