Launched by a team of Noma alums in the former Noma space, Barr takes its inspiration from the countries that border the North Sea. The menu sees influences from Denmark, Norway, England, Belgium and Germany, with dishes such as hot smoked herring, Belgian waffles, wiener schnitzel with horseradish and redfish with boar bacon, grilled cabbage and pickled green strawberries. The drink selection similarly represents, including Norwegian aquavit, English gins, Swedish whiskies and over 20 tap beers, including Barr’s own brews, on the menu.
