Barbacoa in Seminyak has established itself as the place to “see and be seen” in Bali. Housed in a beautiful loft-style space, the venue is reminiscent of a trendy American steakhouse, yet the neighboring rice paddies undeniably add to the restaurant’s sense of place.
As the name suggests, Barbacoa is famous for meat; however, there is a surprisingly wide variety of vegan and vegetarian dishes as well. You may leave dinner smelling like you just fell down the chimney, but the experience is well worth it. This is comfort food at its best and should be high on the list of restaurants to try on the island.
