Piazza di Spagna

Piazza di Spagna, 00187 Roma RM, Italy

+39 06 0608

At the bottom of the Spanish Steps is Piazza di Spagna, or the Square of Spain. It’s one of the most popular squares in Rome, complete with Italian Baroque design and the Fontana della Barcaccia (Fountain of the Ugly Boat). Every July, the square is decorated for the Donne Sotto le Stelle fashion show, but it’s bustling all year long. Go in the early mornings to avoid crowds. Recommended by an Indagare insider.
