Victor Hugo, author of The Hunchback of Notre Dame and Les Misérables, was also a prolific artist. Maison de Victor Hugo, the writer’s former apartment turned museum, is where Hugo lived from 1832-1848. Today, you can see paintings, drawings, sculptures, photos, prints, objects, a manuscript collection, a library and archives that reflect on Hugo’s life and career.
