At a Glance

The Sibuet family’s log cabin–themed Le Lodge Park looks to be the setting of a Ralph Lauren photo shoot, from the lobby bar and restaurant to the stylish (though diminutive) rooms.

Outfitted with heavy tartan fabrics, antlers and faux fur throws, Le Lodge Park looks to have taken its inspiration from Adirondacks camps and Scottish hunting lodges as much as from the French Alps. The stylishness, however, doesn’t get in the way of the property’s comfort, and the hotel is one the most refined choices in Megève.

The 49 guest rooms, which include 10 suites are not as spacious as sister property Les Fermes des Marie, but the property makes up for this with its excellent location in the middle of town, within short walking distance to the Chamois ski lift, as well as restaurants and shopping galore. Le Lodge Park is itself a hot spot, with its bar being one of Megève’s favorite après ski haunts that remains popular throughout the afternoon and evening, and Beef Lodge, the refined lobby steakhouse restaurant.

There is an excellent subterranean spa with a beautiful, semi-circular pool as well as an in-house ski shop, which can outfit guests with wardrobe staples as well as gear for hitting the slopes. As with other Sibuet properties, Le Lodge Park guests are welcome to book a meal at L’Alpage, the family’s mountainside refuge.

Note: Le Lodge Park is only open in the summer and winter.

Who Should Stay

Couples who prefer to stay in town. Guests traveling with children might be happier at the more expansive Les Fermes de Marie, where rooms are bigger and the property is more conducive to hosting little ones. Visitors who prefer staying in modern surroundings should check out M de Megève.
