The very first restaurant in Jean-Georges’ empire, Jojo opened in 1991 in an elegant Upper East Side townhouse. Recently reimagined during a year-long closure, Jojo has emerged with a sleek, contemporary aesthetic, featuring light wood flooring, whimsical bulb lighting and metallic finishings. The globally-inspired menu reflects Jean-Georges’ farm-to-table focus, with roasted delicate squash salad and spicy yellowfin tuna tartare lettuce cups for appetizers, followed by mains like roasted Maine lobster and roasted duck breast with hibiscus and honey-glazed pumpkin.
