Located on the Sherman Zwicker, a historic sailboat docked in the Hudson River off N. Moore Street in Tribeca, this oyster bar and restaurant could rely on looks alone to draw its nightly crowds of chic revelers. But the restaurant on the 142-foot schooner, built in 1942, also serves up expertly shaken cocktails and a rotating selection of oysters. If you’re feeling peckish, there are small plates—fluke crudo, fried squash blossoms—to be ordered from the fully operational kitchen in the boat’s hull, which also houses a maritime museum. A word to the wise: If you’d like to slurp oysters while gazing at incredible views of Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty, arrive early; the ship’s capacity is of 145, and barstools fills up fast.
