The legendary steakhouse has always attracted celebs and bigwigs and the Hamptons’ outpost is no exception (Billy Joel’s been coming here since the 1980s). Located on the ground floor of the Huntting Inn, the lounge area feels like the library of a longtime East Hampton family with its antiques and wood-burning fireplace. This is an old school steak house so the cut of the meats is more important than the cut of the curtains; don’t expect fancy dining rooms but you can count on perfectly grilled filet. Jackets and ties suggested.
