Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park & Mansion is the former property of Charles Marsh (renowned Vermont lawyer), Frederick Billings (famed attorney who managed land disputes during the California Gold Rush), Mary French Rockefeller (Billing’s grand-daughter) and her husband Laurance Rockefeller (American philanthropist and conservationist). The 40-acre property and Queen Anne-style mansion were donated to the People of the United States in 1992 and are now open to the public and accept visitors.
