When Taku Puna was located in Los Angeles, the boutique’s Clacton and Frinton clothing line was popular with costume designers for both big- and small-screen productions. (Those who have seen Friends, Get Shorty or Leaving Las Vegas might recognize the classic yet stylish shirts.) Owners Michael and Hilary Anderson moved their Taku Puna headquarters (the store is called Taku Puna, and the brand is Clacton and Frinton) to Santa Barbara long ago, but you’ll still spot Hollywood A-listers like longtime fan David Lynch and T-Bone Burnett popping in.
