Zermatt

Similar to Zermatt’s hotel scene, the town is full of dining options and sorting through them to find the best options can be daunting. As well as along the main Bahnhofanstrasse, many of the best restaurants (boasting more than 293 Gault Millau points altogether) are located in the top hotels, mid-mountain or in the surrounding towns. Restaurants book up very quickly, so it is important to book dinners far in advance, as well as sketch out a basic itinerary of mid-mountain lunch spots based on which portion of the extensive mountain landscape you’re attempting to ski each day.
