This family-run company offers an authentic taste of and insight into Priorat through three experiences for visitors: an olive oil tasting; an olive oil, vermouth and local goods tasting; or an olive oil tasting and winery tour and tasting. The olive oil, vermouth and local goods tasting all take place in their shop in a Falset, a charming space of wood walls and high ceilings filled with beautifully displayed local products and ceramics. The tastings are most often enjoyed at a small wooden dining table within the shop, where travelers will learn about the production and history of the products and farming in the region, as well as the proper way to taste olive oil. The winery tour and wine tasting take place fifteen minutes outside of Falset at Buil and Giné winery. Travelers should note that this wine experience can take around two hours, not including the olive oil tasting in Falset at the beginning, so ample time should be allotted for both.
Logistics: Though the olive oil tasting and winery tour are sold together, Priorat Nature does not provide transportation between the two. Travelers will need their own transportation, whether that be a rental car or a transfer set up by the hotel.
