This design shop on Rua Miguel Bombarda is a treasure trove for decorative items by local artisans. The Barcelo roosters (Portugal's unofficial mascot) are popular souvenir items and you can find neon versions of them here, as well as colorful ceramics and prints by Porto-based artists.

This hipster concept store features made-in-Portugal products. The shop is divided into five mini-boutiques that sell fashion, design, art and accessories. Some favorite finds from a recent trip include cream-colored wool capes and locally made cork products. There is a café in the back.

This modern, open-air shopping gallery connects the Lello Bookstore to Clerigos Tower with a selection of upscale shops from international and European brands. Grab lunch or a snack from one of the cafes that dot the shopping arcade and head to the landscaped roof for an expansive green space in the midst of Porto.

A cool concept store housed in a sleek, white space, Scar.ID highlights fashion, accessories and furniture of emerging designers. It also doubles as a creativity lab, architecture and interior design offices and a photography studio with aims to promote high quality and innovative Portuguese products.

This men’s concept store in Porto’s Boavista neighborhood is easily the hippest shopping experience in Portugal. The accessible Wrong Weather houses the kind of clothes, shoes and accessories any stylish guy would want, from jeans by A.P.C. to New Balance sneakers to hybrid shirts by Kriss van Assche.
