Quattro Leoni

Piazza della Passera, 50125 Firenze, Italy

See Website

This traditional Florentine trattoria with a great location in the Oltrano district, just near the Boboli gardens and a few minutes walk from Palazzo Pitti, has been around since the 1940's. The restaurant features an open patio and a whimsical dining room complete with colorful photos and paintings, wood beamed ceilings and Tuscan stone walls. Casual and family-friendly, Quattro Leoni is perfect for delicious Italian meal. Though it is local in feel, with rushed waiters as quick to scold you for not finishing your plate as they are to invite you over dinner, the restaurant is by no means a secret. While Florentines do dine here, expect to see tourists too (although it shouldn't hinder you from enjoying a fabulous plate of pasta or a fresh salad).
