At this hip Speakeasy, the rules are strictly enforced: reservations are required, the entry ‘password’ changes frequently, topics of politics are forbidden and—in true speakeasy fashion—the bartender must be respected above all. The Jerry Thomas Speakeasy embodies a true 1920’s underground watering hole, complete with a dark, sultry interior and a menu of inventive cocktails. The bar is tucked away without any signage, and guests must ring a bell to gain entrance after making a reservation in advance. Adventurous cocktail lovers should try the absinthe concoctions, which are made from a unique blend of liquors and bitters.
