Nonos & comestibles, Rue Boissy d'Anglas, Paris, France
Nonos at the Crillon hits just the right balance between sophisticated and laid-back— with food to match, thanks to the gentle guidance of chef Paul Pairet (of three-Michelin-starred Ultraviolet in Shanghai). Tucked behind a winter garden, the brasserie’s small dining room reminds me of a sleek yacht, with its low ceilings and leather banquettes. The menu includes classics like oysters and cheese souffle or leek vinaigrette to start and steaks, sole, veal or pork chops for main courses. (Don’t miss the souffles for dessert.) Nonos has become a favorite retreat for fashion folk who work in the Faubourg St. Honoré area.
