Celebrity chef Dominique Crenn, whose culinary life was chronicled in an early Chef’s Table episode, has finally opened a restaurant in her native country. The Brittany-raised chef made her name in San Francisco with three-Michelin-starred Atelier Crenn, and she has brought her Californian know-how and love for vegetables to this new restaurant in the La Fantasie boutique hotel. My favorite dishes include the mushroom tart with pickled cucumber and sea bream with cocoa beans. Come early for a drink at the rooftop bar, which has a lovely outdoor terrace.
