Indagare’s favorite helicopter tour takes in much of the Faroes’s 18 islands from above, before heading to the island of Mykines, home to a large population of puffins, as well as other seabirds like gannets, cormorants and guillemots. Mykines’s lighthouse is one of the Faroe’s most-photographed sites, perched dramatically on a crest between two cliffs.
