Established in the 1850s, the city’s Botanic Garden is one of Singapore’s loveliest green spaces. But the truly extraordinary place within is the National Orchid Garden, where more than 1,000 species can be seen in all their colorful, magnificent glory. From the gardens, it’s a short ride to Yan Ting, the Cantonese restaurant in the St. Regis Hotel, whose weekend dim sum brunch is one of the city’s best.
