Authentic Indian cuisine in Singapore’s “Little India” area is what this restaurant offers, but with a sophisticated feel with low white chairs and natural wood floors. Its cuisine draws from all over the subcontinent, but largely emphasizes Northern, coastal and Southern regions. Menu highlights include lightly marinated tandoori Norwegian salmon tikka, tender lamb shanks simmered in saffron and cardamom laced with roasted almonds, and for vegetarians, the Jodhpuri flour dumpling poached in light turmeric and flavored with dried fenugreek. The Alcove area of the restaurant is its semi-private space.
