The Taj Mahal is at its most crowded at sunset. However, it is lovely to step back from the crowds and watch it from a distance so that you can fully appreciate its beauty in the soft light.

Timing at the Taj Mahal is everything. We were the first people in line in the morning and arrived at sunrise, which meant we had a few minutes to be alone with this magnificent building as it drifted in and out of the morning fog.
