Santa Fe rises out of New Mexico’s endless desert landscape like a colorful oasis that teeters between over-the-top kitsch and expressive old soul. This is the destination that left a deep impression on American cultural influencers, including Georgia O’Keeffe, Willa Cather and Bob Dylan.

Designing Your Journey
Work with Indagare to design the perfect itinerary for an immersive journey. Our travel experts know the destination inside and out, and they can make recommendations based on your travel needs and preferences.
3 Days in Santa Fe
Experience the best of Santa Fe with a customized itinerary that includes guided touring, special access and private classes. Here’s just one example of what our travel specialists can arrange for you.
Day 1: Art Galleries and Museums
Spend your first day in Santa Fe exploring the local art scene with one of Indagare’s favorite art historians, who will guide you through the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum, the New Mexico History Museum, Museum Hill and the Railyard District, as well as the many independent galleries. Shoppers can peruse artisanal wares and jewelry at small boutiques or the Palace of the Governors, an adobe market in downtown Santa Fe.
Day 2: Drive to Ghost Ranch and Georgia O’Keeffe
Art aficionados should spend a day at Ghost Ranch, the 21,000-acre compound where Georgia O’Keeffe lived and home to the landscape that inspired many of the artist’s works. Indagare can arrange a tour of the Abiquiu Studio for art lovers, which offers a more intimate and comprehensive picture of her life and oeuvre.
Day 3: Bandelier National Monument
This 33,000-acre park contains more than 70 miles of hiking trails, from short walks along well-groomed paths to hours-long, challenging excursions into the backcountry. Indagare can introduce you to top rangers and geologists who can steer you to the best trails for you and show you stunning ruins of Anasazi cliff houses as well as Pueblo dwellings on the canyon floor.
Where To Stay
We only feature hotels that we can vouch for first-hand. At many of them, Indagare members receive special amenities, including upgrades, early check-in, breakfast, spa credits and more. Look for the Indagare Plus logo in the reviews.
