Berlin, Germany’s capital, with its thriving art and fashion scenes, is one of Europe’s most exciting and vibrant centers of contemporary culture. The city’s creative scene is permeated by a sense of exploration and risk-taking—perhaps one of the reasons that Berlin is often likened to 1980s New York City. Shaped by a complex history and a current urgency to prove itself, Berlin is a massive place to explore.

Designing Your Journey
Work with Indagare to design the perfect itinerary for an immersive journey. Our travel experts know the destination inside and out, and they can make recommendations based on your travel needs and preferences.
5 Days: Essential Berlin
Berlin presents a fascinating blend of political history, contemporary art and up-and-coming nightlife—wrapped in the aesthetic of an imperial European capital. With a customized itinerary that highlights special access, you can tap into the rhythms of the city. Here is just one example of what our destination experts can create for you.
Days 1-2: Historical Berlin
Getting a handle on the enormous cultural and historic offerings of Berlin can be overwhelming, and there are more than 170 museums. Indagare can arrange a guided tour with an expert that will immerse you in the significance of the most important landmarks, like the Reichstag, the Brandeburg Gate, Charlie Checkpoint and the Berlin Wall . During your first two days in the city, your guide will give you an in-depth experience of Berlin’s complex history. After lunch at up-and-coming restaurants, your afternoons are free for independent exploration.
Days 3-4: Artistic Berlin
Dive into the artistic side of Berlin with special access to its best art museums and exhibits. Start the day with a guided walking tour of the world-famous East Side Gallery, and learn about the significance behind its mysterious graffiti murals. After a long lunch at an Indagare-recommended restaurant, head over to Sammlung Boros or Hamburger Bahnhof. The next day will be dedicated to a guided tour of Museum Island, a not-to-be-missed complex of five world-class museums on an island in the Spree River.
Day 5: Berlin’s Past & Present
Today, experience an intimate view of the Jewish Museum and Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe with an expert-guided tour that will change you; then, see how the city has survived and flourished with an immersion into its new, charming and edgy shopping neighborhoods, like Hackesche Höfe in Mitte. Indagare can organize vintage shopping or foodie-focused tours; we can also provide you with an insider guide to Berlin’s unique nightlife, including a list of Do’s and Don’ts for getting into the most exclusive clubs.
