Trey inherited her love of travel (and eating), so before she could walk, she had a passport. A St. Louis native, trips with her parents and grandparents instilled in her a curiosity for life. After graduating from the University of Arizona with degrees in journalism and cultural anthropology, she embarked on a two-year solo backpacking adventure around the world. Notable moments were the Sichuan Cooking School in Chengdu, Oktoberfest in Munich and the surreal sunrise in Goa.
Prior to joining the Indagare Studio, Trey worked in research for a nonprofit and editorial for a lifestyle magazine. Her love of cuisine, music and the arts brought her to New York City, and when she isn’t creating content or traveling, Trey can be found trying a new restaurant, floral arranging, on a dance floor or ogling dogs in the park next to her apartment building. Trey is passionate about inspiring people to discover more about themselves and other cultures, create connections and conversations and be lifelong learners through travel.

Khao Soi from the night market in Chiang Mai; fried feta with sesame seeds and honey in Corfu, Greece; croque monsieur at Versailles; Roman-style scrambled eggs at Hotel de Russie in Rome; al pastor street tacos in Oaxaca; coconut syrup in Hawaii

Brooklyn is hard to beat, but Paris for the food or Berlin for the music
