Vacations for Ellen growing up included climbing a volcano in Ecuador, spending a summer in Indonesia, exploring the rainforest in Guatemala and trekking with rhinos in Southern Nepal. Being pushed out of her comfort zone at a young age allowed her to develop a passion for meaningful connections and experiences and a deeply rooted love for nature and the outdoors.
Ellen carried this with her as she began her career teaching science, instilling in youth an understanding of and appreciation for the natural world. Ellen believes nature isn’t something to be watched, but something to be experienced. Her animal-loving spirit led her to take master’s courses abroad where she focused her studies in wildlife conservation. To her, travel allows people to recognize the beautiful interconnectivity of all living things.
When she is not helping plan an epic adventure for her clients, you can find her at the beach on the Jersey Shore, working on her garden or playing with her cat, Scout.
