Elizabeth Harvey, Creative Team
Born and raised in New York City, Elizabeth started traveling at an early age, primarily to Italy. She realized her passion for exploring the world and immersing herself in other cultures when she spent a semester in high school studying Spanish and living with a host family in Madrid, and she continued to nurture her love for language, food and art by studying in both Barcelona and Florence in college. For Indagare, Elizabeth has scouted in Ireland; Costa Rica; Tulum and San Miguel de Allende, Mexico; Senegal; Italy; and, most recently, Saudi Arabia. In addition to writing for the Indagare website and magazine, with a focus on up-and-coming destinations, new hotels, restaurants and shopping, Elizabeth manages creative assets and marketing for the Insider Journeys program—along with supporting other brand initiatives. In her spare time, Elizabeth enjoys searching for transportive restaurants and hidden-gem cocktail (and dive) bars, spending time with the animals on her family's farm in New Jersey, growing her wine knowledge and photography skills and plotting out adventures in the footsteps of her travel idols Ernest Hemingway and Anthony Bourdain. Prior to joining Indagare's Content & Creative Team in 2017, Elizabeth graduated with degrees in English and Spanish from Georgetown University (with an honors thesis on Hemingway's travel writing) and with a certificate in publishing from the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism.
