Picturing New Zealand

Indagare’s creative director Simone Girner recently traveled to New Zealand for an extensive scouting trip. She started in Queenstown, on the South Island, and worked her way up to Auckland on the North Island, spending time in the Banks Peninsula, Kaikoura, Marlborough Sound, Tasman, Wellington, Taupo and Rotorua in between.

"While exploring in New Zealand," she writes in her essay Into the Wild, "you are constantly reminded that the world we inhabit is full of ferocious, raw beauty; that we should protect it with all our might; that it is all so very precious indeed."

Here are some of her photographs (courtesy Julian Bassermann) from her journey. For help planning your trip to New Zealand, contact our Bookings Team.
