I had always dreamed of seeing the Northern Lights. I remember learning about the mystical Aurora in science class as a kid, instantly placing them at the top of my bucket list.
My first attempt to catch them was in September 2023 at the ICEHOTEL in Jukkasjärvi, Sweden. Despite my excitement, the lights eluded me—though, ironically, an Indagare colleague on the same trip spotted them from her Finnair flight to Sweden.
