At Indagare, we believe that every trip should be unforgettable and designed specifically for the traveler. Here, we dive into a behind-the-scenes look at the planning process for Indagare member Leslie Podell and her family, who took a trip over New Year's to Harbour Island. We talk to Trip Designer Colin Heinrich, who orchestrated the memorable journey, as well as Leslie, who reflects on her favorite Indagare-planned experiences.
"Our members, the Podell family, wanted to go to Harbour Island over the New Year, and they had friends staying at The Dunmore. They asked for our assistance with finding a nearby property and arranging dinner reservations."

"We booked them at Coral Sands, one of our favorite beachfront properties on the island, that was recently renovated and located just down from The Dunmore. Since the Podells are a family of five, we organized a beachfront one-bedroom cottage and an oceanview cottage behind it that would work for their family. We also put together an itinerary of flights for them and made reservations at our favorite island restaurants."

"Harbour Island is one of Indagare's favorite Caribbean destinations, and we know the island's offerings very well. With our first-hand knowledge, we knew Coral Sands was recently renovated and would be a perfect property for the family. We also curated a list of our favorite restaurants, such as The Landing, Aquapazza and Rock House."

"We absolutely loved our week on Harbour Island! The island is a sanctuary enclave with small-town grit. Compared to other islands in the Caribbean that are so insular, this island has a very cute town just a five-minute golf cart drive away from the hotel."
We only feature hotels that we can vouch for first-hand. At many of them, Indagare members receive special amenities.Get In Touch
