Family Fun at Legoland

Indagare member A.B.L. recently took a VIP tour of Legoland in California. Here are her impressions from the visit.

Perhaps the best way to describe our time in Legoland is to use my five-year-old’s term: epic. For years I’d heard friends talk about concierge services at Disney, so I was hoping there might be something similar at Legoland, and what I found exceeded my expectations. While the services between the two parks can be compared (like no waiting in lines and special access), I can't imagine the personal nature is the same. The people who accompanied us around the park made our experience unforgettable.

My son was immediately comfortable with our guide—holding his hand, asking to go on the roller coaster with him and completely entranced by his knowledge of the park. At every turn, I was surprised by the gifts, the care and the willingness to understand what a five-year-old boy would find exciting and special (as well as his mom and her sister).

Seeing how the plastic bricks are made was a top priority for our visit. The demonstration was done with such knowledge and enthusiasm and the day would not have been the same without this experience.

This is a truly special trip for anyone with young children, especially boys. It was an incredible day and a great value for the generosity, fun and enthusiasm that everyone shared with us. It brought smiles to all of our faces and memories that will last forever.
