This house considers itself to be the first Chinese luxury jeweler. Founded by a Chinese designer, Dennis Chan, and a French businessman, the company had been selling its pieces at Colette and Bon Marché in Paris, but recently opened a boutique in the Palais Royal. Among their more popular pieces are a diamond-encrusted panda pendant, called “BoBo,” which means precious in Chinese, and the Wulu rings, which symbolize fruit and fecundity—a perfect gift for new mothers. The actress Maggie Cheung stars in the ad campaign, which has made the brand well-known in Asia.
