Run by Chianti's most famous butcher, Dario Cecchini, this restaurant is a carnivore's delight. Its name translates to "just meat" and there are two nightly seatings featuring an often changing menu. And, vegetarians need not fear: there are plenty of dishes to choose from for them as well. Expect a congenial, happy crowd. Solociccia is about an hour's drive from Florence and makes a good spot for lunch while touring in Chianti.
