If you are looking for an alternative to French bistro food during your time in Paris, Il Carpaccio is an excellent choice for Michelin-starred Italian at Le Royal Monceau Raffles Paris hotel in the 8th arrondissement. The chic restaurant created in partnership with the Cerea family (behind three-Michelin star Da Vittorio restaurant near Milan) spills out onto the terrace in warmer months and serves pleasing Italian dishes such as a vibrant pink signature beef carpaccio with a generous portion of truffles on top, yellowtail tartare, shrimp risotto with a Sicilian twist and delicious homemade pasta dishes like Paccheri (large tube) pasta with a three tomato sauce and fresh parmesan—all of which we tried on a recent visit. The chefs arrive tableside to describe each dish. Finish it off with delicious Pistachio gelato and a pineapple carpaccio or tiramisu. Menus change weekly.

Closed on Sundays and Mondays.
