Duryea’s Montauk is about as quintessentially Montauk as you can get—gargantuan lobster Cobb salads washed down with magnum rosé bottles, served from a waterfront shack and enjoyed on a boat dock-turned-deck. It's the casual-chic marriage that defines Montauk as a fashionable beach enclave. Situated on Fort Pond Bay, Duryea's is an ideal spot for lunch or dinner (the sunset views are undeniably Instagrammable, plus the cheeky "THE END" sign on the water is a nod to Montauk's nickname "End of the World"). However, diners will feel anywhere but the end here, as it's one of the hottest tables to get in town with a well-dressed and well-heeled crowd. No reservations, so come early to secure a table—if you have to wait, check out the market and boutique for to-go cocktails, coffee, bespoke condiments (think Amangansett sea salt in a variety of flavors) or the sought-after Duryea's branded merchandise.

The menu serves a variety of seafood favorites—lobster rolls, oysters, seafood towers and fresh catches; plus, shared mains like skirt steak or grilled chicken, or a simple grilled cheese or cheeseburger. Come with a group as most dishes are meant to be shared (the prices might be large, but so are the portions). The lobster Cobb is an absolute must.
