Review

With an elegant, old-world entryway, replete with wrought-iron grating and marble floors, the Hotel Regina offers a Belle Époque escape from the moment guests arrive at the old-fashioned property. Originally built in 1900, the building has a superb location in Paris’s 1st arrondissement, and is just a short walk from the Tuileries and Louvre.

Hotel Regina’s 99 rooms and suites are comfortable and refined, with just enough French flair to remind guests that they are, indeed, in Paris. The accommodations are not the most updated in Paris, but the rooms with Eiffel Tower views are lovely, and the public spaces are imbued with French charm. Although the hotel does have its own restaurant and bar, guests are better off venturing elsewhere for a meal or a beverage.

Who Should Stay

Independent, repeat travelers to Paris who do not require high-touch service or luxurious amenities, as well as those looking for a central, well-priced option.
