On an island as entrenched in its traditions as Bermuda, The Loren at Pink Beach is a stylish reflection of its current metamorphosis. A departure from the British colonial architecture and design that typifies many resorts here, this five-star oasis, which sits on eight coastal acres, is decidedly modern with an extensive art collection throughout the property. The sleek, glass-enclosed lobby overlooks the turquoise sea with minimalist furnishings, whimsical lighting and a dramatic spiral staircase. Utilizing wood elements mixed with mirrors and velvet textiles, The Loren at Pink Beach is beach glam and understated luxury.

This contemporary aesthetic extends to the sophisticated rooms, suites and villas, which have floor-to-ceiling windows that open onto terraces or balconies overlooking the sparkling coastline. Rooms and suites (one-, two- and three- bedroom) have walk-in spa rain showers, double vanities, Malin+Goetz products and plush bathrobes. There are 13 villas at The Loren, each offering a more private and intimate experience than the rooms and suites. The collection of hilltop Villa Kings are each 600 square-feet with enough space for an extra rollaway bed, making them a good option for smaller families. The remaining villas each offer a more unique and privatized luxury experience and include two one-bedroom villas, a three-bedroom villa and a three and a half bedroom villa. These are perfect for couples seeking extra privacy, families, large groups or celebrations of any kind. Each villa has a private pool and BBQ area in the backyard for taking in Bermuda’s natural beauty with the utmost privacy. Built for gathering, eating and relaxing, these luxury villas are designed with an open plan kitchen and living area with adjacent entertainment cove.

On-property amenities include the Sisley Spa (which has a lengthy menu, including Phyto-aromatic treatments), a fitness center, two seaside infinity pools, a private pink-sand beach with direct access from the pool deck, a Kids’ Club and two restaurants. The main restaurant, Pink Beach Club, serves a locally-sourced menu breakfast through dinner. Alongside poolside staples like burgers and fish and chips, guests will find healthier options like salads, poke and veggie-based entrees. The second dining option is the Marée Lounge which embodies a more casual vibe during the day with games of pool and board games but transforms to an atmospheric space in the evenings, serving a smaller menu of tasty bites.

While leaving the property might be difficult with stunning views of the ocean from every angle of the hotel, Bermuda is a treasure trove of natural wonder. The Loren Team has developed and curated a list of on- and off-property experiences, one of which is the Caves and Nature Walking Tour, a guided exploration of Bermuda’s most coveted natural attractions. Beginning with a visit to the Crystal Caves, guests will discover an underground network of azure pools and clusters of crystals caves. The tour continues with a nature walk through Tom Moore’s Jungle and Blue Hole Park and concludes with a custom lunch from the hotel’s Chef on the beach at Cooper’s Island Nature Reserve.
