This inaugural Indagare Insider Journey to the Philippines is designed for those who like the adventure of being the first guests to experience a new itinerary—and have Indagare founder Melissa Biggs Bradley as host. This seven-night journey will introduce travelers to leading members of Manila’s highly sophisticated business, social, cultural and artistic circles and take them a world away to an island retreat that is not only the most acclaimed resort property in the country but one of the most famous beachfront getaways in Asia. It is an itinerary that blends the rewards of urban exploration with those of sybaritic indulgence—to perfection.

A spot on this trip may be reserved with a 50% non-refundable deposit, with the balance to be paid in full by November 15, 2023.

Discover the cosmopolitan world of Manila through visits with some of its most influential and best-known residents, including entrepreneurs, designers, arts patrons and heritage experts. Indagare is proud to have been the first American organization to have supported (in 2010) the designs of the Manila-based fashion company Filip + Inna and its founder, Lenora Cabili, who will host a dinner for the group.

History & cultural visits
Learn about the history, culture and creations of the diverse Southeast Asian ethnic groups who populate the Philippine archipelago and contribute to the country’s multifaceted identity and outlook.

Extraordinary accommodations & activities
Experience Amanpulo, the Aman hotel located on one of the 7,000-plus islands of the archipelago. Morning yoga, afternoon snorkeling, sunset-cruising and stargazing—days at Amanpulo will offer relaxation and restoration of body and mind from wake-up to bedtime.

She has visited more than 100 countries over the course of her travels. Melissa is also the author of Safari Style: Exceptional African Camps and Lodges (Vendome). In fall of 2022, Melissa was named host of a new radio show and podcast on SiriusXM, Passport to Everywhere.
