This cozy spot serving innovative and updated German fare is located right across the street from the Brooklyn Academy of Music, making it a favorite pre- or post-performance dinner venue (reservations are a must). The wood-paneled dining room is cozy and the staff is friendly and laid-back (it’s Brooklyn, after all). The well-edited menu changes often, but staples include schnitzel, steak tartare and an incredible trout salad served with potato pancakes. Save room for the delicious and caloric desserts. Closed Monday.
