At a Glance
Antwerp’s pedestrian-only Green Quarter is home to August, a modern hotel set inside a former Augustinian convent. No two rooms are alike (some on the upper floor have centuries-old wooden roofs, some have terraces and balconies). All, however, have Egyptian linens, en-suite bathrooms, Le Labo toiletries, and fully stocked minibars. The restaurant focuses on seasonal ingredients and includes a secluded garden for alfresco meals, and the spa entices with a sauna, hammam, outdoor swimming pond and outdoor shower.
