Although most travelers are drawn to Rwanda to see the endangered mountain gorillas—a wildlife experience that is truly unlike any other—it is the resilient spirit of the Rwandan people, their rich culture and the beauty of the country’s diverse landscapes, ideal for hiking and safari, that leave travelers with a sense of awe and a desire to return. Don’t miss what is sure to be a once-in-a-lifetime wildlife experience: this exhilarating eight-night itinerary gives travelers access to one day of chimpanzee trekking in Nyungwe National Park and two days of gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park—with expert guides from luxury lodges One&Only Nyungwe House and Wilderness Safaris Bisate Lodge.

To learn more about these primates and what you will experience on the ground, listen to Indagare founder Melissa Biggs Bradley's Passport to Everywhere podcast episode with Tara Stoinski, who serves as the President and CEO and Chief Scientific Officer for the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund.
