From cab driver to resort manager, everyone here raves about the Conch Shack, a pastel-colored open-air restaurant right on the water, in the Blue Hills neighborhood. It’s the place to try TCI’s ubiquitous seafood, which is reminiscent of calamari and can be chewy if not prepared well. At Conch Shack it comes fresh from the sea and is made on the spot and served fried, grilled, raw or as a ceviche. On Tuesday and Thursday evening, there‘s live music starting at 6:30 P.M. It’s a great place to soak up the local vibe.
